Last week, we rounded up twenty holiday pop-up shops, a group that ranged from Harlem to Williamsburg and from Chanel to Lionel trains. Pop-ups being flaky little suckers, that map is already out of date, so please allow us to present below a new, updated, piping-hot, just-baked, straight-out-of-the-oven guide to the temporary stores of this holiday season.
Notable new editions include the Charmin Restrooms in Times Square and the Pamela Love jewelry pop-up inside the Rogan store on the Bowery. There's also a three-way competition for Cutest Pop-Up of the Month raging between Kate Spade's Bryant Park igloo, Fred Flare's Chelsea Market stand, and Sanrio's Herald Square mobile boutique, although Sanrio might forfeit by bowing out early, since it closes tonight.
