There's no denying that New York City is a concrete jungle right now, and with temperatures that have been climbing into the mid-90s, it's best to stay off the sidewalks and under a leafy tree somewhere. In addition to the obvious parks and shady brunch spots, there are also a handful of hidden outdoor oases tucked away at Manhattan's local stores.
