Sweet little LES shop Plum survived for over five years on Ludlow Street, making it practically an institution in a neighborhood known for its retail turnover. The owners closed their shoe-focused sister shop, Pear, last year, and now it looks like Plum will follow. The good news: While the brick-and-mortar store is leaving us, its well-edited collection of young labels will live on in a soon-to-launch ecommerce site.
Of course, it wouldn't be a store closing without a sale. Through April 30th, the store is selling off its spring and summer merch for $25 to $150. The Thread tells us to look for Thayer and Gina DeSilva dresses and Ralph & Duchess jewelry; Refinery adds that we can expect to see tops and shorts from Chris & Jaime, dresses from Lia Kes, and tanks from Daftbird. Even if you don't recognize the names, you'll recognize the style, which is very well-kempt hipster.
