The Gap's theme for this summer is Americana. That happens to be its theme for every summer, as far as we can tell, but this time around Americana includes big chunky wedges from Pierre Hardy. Blogger Couture Snob went to the Gap showroom recently and came back with pictures of three styles from the collection: Scarf-tie wedges, cork-soled peep-toes, and lace-up denim platforms. We don't see these inspiring the same kind of rabid devotion as Hardy's fall boots, but the print on the scarf is kind of sweet. What say you?
