Another day, another music act’s pop-up shop. This time, it’s rapper Future teaming up with Fancy, an e-commerce site that feels like Amazon and Instagram had a baby, to put on “Future Hive” at 76 Wooster Street next month, Women’s Wear Daily is reporting.
According to the fashion paper, the pop-up will feature an art gallery, a VIP lounge, and a retail space that will sell Future’s Freebandz apparel collection. Custom items like an exclusive Future Pintrill pin, a John Varvatos leather motorcycle jacket that the rapper customized in collaboration with Brooklyn-based artist Adam Bohemond, and a Moreca leather weekend bag whose hanging tag reads ‘Always secure the bag’ — a nod to DJ Khaled’s “I Got the Keys” song that he guest-raps on.
The pop-up opens next Tuesday, August 2nd — coinciding with Future’s Summer Sixteen tour stops with Drake at Madison Square Garden — and runs through Monday, August 8th. Drizzy, meanwhile, had his own New York pop-up just before Views dropped in April.
