Thakoon is making major moves. In September, Thakoon Panichgul's label will return to New York Fashion Week and open a flagship store in Soho, WWD reported.
You'll be able to buy Thakoon's latest collection right after its debut, too. It’s hopping on the see-now-buy-now train, following the lead of Rebecca Minkoff, Michael Kors, Proenza Schouler, DVF, and more that showed instantly-stoppable runway collections during Fashion Week in February. Thakoon is only further proof that the trend is continuing to pick up steam.
The company's strategy is to sell its clothing exclusively at the flagship and e-commerce site with accessories and limited-edition products peppered in, according to the fashion paper.
Back in December, Vivian Chou took a majority stake in the company, 22 years old and fresh out of Wharton Business School; her father is a big deal in the textiles industry.
Get ready: Thakoon’s “new now” is coming.
