Queens girls and guys no longer have to traipse into Manhattan for a luxe salon experience. The brand new Luxy Lady Salon has made a home of Long Island City, Queens, offering clients blow-outs and extensions, make-up application, as well as nail services.
Luxy Lady's menu of super lavish products includes Balmain Hair Extentions — yes that Balmain — Oribe Hair Care, Kevyn Aucoin make up, plus Christian Louboutin and Tom Ford nail polishes that you can use during your services (as well as purchase).
The salon even has its own signature Luxy Lady "7 Free" nail polish brand available that's free of harsh chemicals.
The team of ten artists and technicians includes celebrity make up artist Charles Edward, who has glammed the faces of Khloe Kardashian and Eva Longoria, and is in talks to expand into customized skin and body treatments for those looking to get a facial or cavitation (a type of a non-invasive lippo) done.
Don't worry about cleanliness. This beauty bar is the only salon in New York City with removable pedicure jets that are sanitized after every single client with medical-grade disinfectant.
The salon is open from Tuesday through Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome and you can even call to schedule an appointment outside of open hours.
