Opening Ceremony’s NYC Pride Tees Will Benefit Orlando Victims

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

It’s not new that Opening Ceremony has a collection dedicated to LGBT Pride Month this year — the almost-too-cool boutique has been doing them for awhile now — but this time around, creative directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim are paying homage to the local landmarks that shaped the gay rights movement.

The men’s styles feature the city’s prominent gay bars of both past and present, including Cattyshack, Meow Mix, The Monster, The Eagle, and of course The Stonewall Inn.

100% of the profits from this merchandise will go directly to the Pulse Victims Fund, which supports victims’ families and others affected by the recent tragedy. Check out a selection of what you can buy below, and see the full collection here.
