To celebrate its 75th anniversary, Coach is launching a vintage collection with Barneys New York that'll be available in select stores, including the Madison Avenue flagship. Three of its most popular silhouettes are featured: the Dinky, Stewardess, and Duffle — but each with a twist.
The bags were created between the 1970s and the 1990s and sourced from all over the world. Following an intense restoration process, the bags were customized with hand-applied motifs like fringe ($795—$995) for the brand's ties to the American West; rip and repair ($695), a nod to the leather baseball mitt that inspired the company's founders in 1941; and lastly, vintage stripes ($595) to celebrate Coach's expert leather application and classic American style.
The bags are available now both in store and online. Each purchase comes with a custom black leather tag with "Coach XO Barneys New York 1 of 1," so you know your bag is unique.
