For the fifth year running, Freemans Sporting Club is putting on its Super Bowl sample sale, featuring its range of long-lasting and classic men's apparel for up to 70% off retail prices, beginning this Thursday, February 4th at at 8 Rivington Street.

Last year, sizes for popular items were knocked out quickly, leaving stuff that would only suit the pencil-waisted man. Bins full of dress shirts, trousers, tee-shirts, and more had price signs starting at just $10, but the real steals were the serious markdowns on high-end outerwear ($350, from around $1,440) and suits, like a two-piece corduroy number for $400 (from $1,365).

This year, shoppers can pop into the Lower East Side store expecting discounts on a variety of flannel, plaid, denim, and chambray camp shirts as well as that outerwear right up until kickoff this Sunday, February 7th at 6pm.
