'Broad City' Mural Painting and Fitness in the Club to Plan Ahead For

The New York City fashion, shopping, and fitness events you need to know about.

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

WILLIAMSBURG—Broad City. Paint-by-number. Free stuff. Do we have your attention yet? Bedford + Bowery says that anyone can show up to the corner of North 11th Street and Wythe Avenue this Saturday, February 6th between 12pm and 5pm to help paint a Broad City mural with Mike Perry (the guy who makes the show's trippy opening credits). It's paint-by-number, so it's pretty hard to mess up, and there's an after party at Kinfolk with drinks and free Broad Fucking City tee-shirts for the first 100 guests.

LOWER EAST SIDE—Take two! After getting snowed out, Wellvyl — the social network for health and fitness-loving folks — has rescheduled its launch event for this Saturday, February 6th. It's at the same place (The DL, 95 Delancey Street) starting at the same time (3pm) and features the same roster of high-profile instructors (Racked's Hottest Trainer alums Alonzo Wilson and Amanda Butler and Work Out New York's Courtney Paul among them). Tickets start at $35 — prices depend on how many classes you take, and whether you're attending the after party — and can be purchased here.
