Alright, guys: It's time to revamp the essentials in your wardrobe with some new pieces from the Cadet sample sale. We sloshed down to the West Village store this morning to get the scoop on the prices and styles available to find a few men waiting out front for the doors to open at 10am, and pretty soon the small space started to feel a bit cramped.
The store is organized by styles and sizes. By the front door, we found multiple colors of sweatshirts and hoodies in a bin marked with sizes S-XL ($30). There were a few closed bins in the front window filled with shorts ($40)., so don't be afraid to dig in. Many of the pants and jeans could be found on the center table, with a rack of pants — including the Aviator and Barracks pants — right behind it (all $50).
The back half of the store is where we found all the shirts, jackets, and coats. We found a one-off runway sample flight parka in gray ($250) and multiple sizes and colors of double-breasted wool coats, flight jackets, and top coats from the fall 2015 collection (all $100). There were a few sweaters available as well near the coat rack ($70).
Since the space is very small, we suggest that you come during an off time if you can — maybe just after lunch, if you can sneak away. There is a fitting room available in the very back of the store, and cash, credit, and Apple Pay are accepted. See the Dealfeed below for more on the sale.
