The Otte Warehouse Sale, Now Up to 90% Off, Still Has Lots to See

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The Otte warehouse sale kicked off last week, and we stopped back into the store at 281 Mott Street yesterday evening to check out what's left. Overall, the store is significantly depleted versus what our last visit looked like. We recognized a lot of the pieces that are still on the racks, but also found some amazing gems that we either missed last time or have been stocked within the past few days

Jeans are now $65 (from $99), and there seems to be decent stock left in all sizes. Shoes aren't exactly scarce, but compared to what we saw last week, you should head over sooner than later if you're still hoping to score a discounted pair. There are mostly sizes 38 and 40, as well as 8.5s and 10s left. Sales staff told us that starting today, shoes are priced according to what color sticker is on the box, and will range from $59—$99.

Along the right-hand wall that's stocked with tops, favorites that we spotted last week are mixed in with new arrivals. A black Carven button-up with velvet floral appliqué ($250) was especially enticing, as was a colorfully printed silky MSGM top with a laser-cut collar ($400).

Moving farther back along the right-hand wall, there are a few sweaters and bags left on the shelves. There are also three styles of Rag + Bone tall boots, with plain leather styles priced at $175 and a wedge style for $300.

The tables in the middle are now holding shoes and bins full of clothes to sort through. To the left, dresses, skirts, and pants are hanging up along the wall. In dresses, we saw mostly dark-colored styles left, and we liked a Rails plaid flannel shirtdress ($70), and a 10 Crosby Derek Lam geometric printed number ($270). Skirts weren't too impressive —what's left is mostly black and mid-thigh length. We did see a few Opening Ceremony leather minis remaining, though. In pants, we liked a gray See By Chloe oair ($175).

There are a few coats and jackets along the wall in the front left that we didn't see last week. The most notable style was a black shearling-lined suede Pierre Balmain coat marked down to $1,500 from $4,000.

The sale is still definitely worth checking out, but we suggest hurrying! The sale runs through Sunday, January 31st at 7pm. Check out the Dealfeed below for more details.
