This Wednesday, for one day only, Dannijo will host a sample sale offering 90% off retail prices on jewelry, handbags, shoes, and tech accessories, as well as a selection of vintage clothing, at 68 Gansevoort Street. Recognize that address? That's where co-founding sisters Danielle and Jodie Snyder held their holiday "Conversation Pieces" pop-up shop.
Last season, we found hoards of costume jewelry starting at a wallet-friendly $10. The sale was neatly organized into tables with pieces priced at $25, $50, $75, and $150, with plenty of rings on the lower end and ornate cuffs at the higher end. In addition to the selection of neon rope bracelets, pearl cluster earrings, and chain necklaces for the sparkly magpies were several minimal gold and silver pieces — subtle but edgy enough for everyday wear for the New Yorkers who shy away from color. Bonus: Both Danni and Jo were on hand to offer styling tips and advice to customers.
