Melissa Joy Manning, the "rock geek" jeweler who talks to her stones, is coming to Brooklyn. According to neighborhood blog Pardon Me For Asking, the designer has signed on to take over 196 Court Street, which happens to be handily located directly next to Blue Marble Ice Cream. We've reached out to the brand about an opening date and will let you know when we hear back.
It's all part of a fashion-ification of the Court Street stretch — Brooklyn Fox Lingerie has just signed a lease for a space down the street, while by Thanksgiving, a Drybar will have landed in the area as well. Here's hoping MJM's newest store will be just as dreamy as the original, but with the added bonus of ice cream.
