It's not very shocking to hear that Proenza Schouler is having a sample sale next month, but this news comes with two pleasant surprises: The sale is taking place at C21 Edition rather than the brand's Broadway showroom, and it's running for three whole days, rather than just one (finally!), beginning on Tuesday, July 14th.
The brand's also given us a taste of what to expect, including plenty of items from fall 2014 in both apparel and shoes—scroll through the gallery above to get an idea of what you'll find. And as usual, nothing here can really be called cheap, though the discounts are great for what you're getting. Average prices for tops, pants, and skirts will hover between $150 and $200, while shoes are around $230, dresses are closer to $550, and outerwear is around $700.
And what about bags, the average price of which will be about $500? We hear that there will be plenty of PS1 courier and clutch styles...which doesn't sound like great news for those bargain-hunting for satchels or the PS11 classics. Whatever they do have of these can be expected to go early, so you might want to try and sneak in a visit to this sale before work on Tuesday. Check out the Dealfeed below for dates and hours, and be sure to RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org before heading over.
