We've got one question for Rachel Comey: Where's your sample sale? Amid the slew of great boutique sales on the calendar for this week and next, the indie designer who just celebrated the one-year anniversary of her Crosby Street boutique is conspicuously missing.
We were enjoying shopping $100 sandals, clogs, and booties during this week last year, and 2013's sale came around even earlier at the end of June. It's unclear whether the brand's first-ever LA sale in the spring had an effect on what discounted merch is available for us New Yorkers, but what's crystal clear is that it hasn't said a peep about a sample sale here yet.
What they are touting on their Facebook page, however, is their end-of-season sale, where all spring merchandise is half-off both in stores and online. You can also find some of the designer's pieces at aforementioned boutique sales, like French Garment Cleaners.
