Local handbag designer Emm Kuo's sample sale started this week both online and in the store, and will close out tomorrow evening. But for the sale's final day, prices will be reduced an additional 15% tomorrow. We stopped by today to check out the bags left, and though no styles have been completely sold out, there was only one gray bucket bag left and two bucket bags left in black. The larger bucket bags and smaller cross body bags seemed to be the most popular items, as many had been sold when the sale started on Tuesday.
The space is small, but packed with sample styles and pieces from the spring/summer 2015 collection. In addition to the pieces on display on the tables, there is a section of pre-fall pieces and evening bags that are being sold for 25% off their initial prices. We loved their embellished evening clutches, being sold now for $600 from $800. The real steals of the sale, however, were the sample styles. Sample bags are being sold for only $75, and this includes larger tote bags and leather cross body bags. Our favorites were the oversized black leather clutches with different patters and words on them, particularly a zodiac themed bag with a small constellation map.
We (like everyone else, apparently) also loved the bucket bags. Down to $228 from $650, it's no wonder these spacious studded bags were among the first to go. The black bucket bags and a powder blue shade of the style are additionally being sold online, so don't worry if they're not still in the store. Oversized envelope style clutches seemed to be the most abundant in the store, and we especially liked the No. 5 style bag in cracked white for $210 (from $600) and a metallic silver and dark gray clutch for $200.
The sample sale will be ending tomorrow, and with prices being reduced an additional 15%, we're guessing the sale's more popular items will be sold out fast. Check the Dealfeed below for more details.
