NEW YORK CITY—Home cleaning on-demand service Handy just launched its newest service, Handy Delivery, which helps you move and assemble furniture. Currently, Handy Delivery is only set up with Ikea, but how much more appealing is Ikea furniture knowing you don't have to build it? It costs $100 an extra $49 per item requiring assembly—there's no price difference on the item itself between buying it through Handy or through Ikea—and already-assembled items can be added to the order with no added cost.

MANHATTAN—Faux-tan expert James Read will be in Manhattan this weekend for complimentary consultations, free samples, and a meet-and-greet at five Bluemercury locations throughout the city. On Friday, stop by the Upper East Side flagship (1208 Madison Ave) from 1pm to 4pm; Saturday at Union Square (865 Broadway) from 12pm to 3pm and the West Village (404 Sixth Ave) from 5pm 8pm; Sunday at 92nd and Broadway from 11am to 2pm; and Monday in Chelsea (695 Sixth Ave) from 10am to 1pm.

UPPER EAST SIDE—High-end children's boutique Adrian East just kicked off its mid-summer sale at 1375 Madison Avenue, and it'll run through mid-August. Shop designer brands like Chloé, Dolce and Gabbana, and Lilly Pulitzer in miniature form, plus the store's own brand, for up to 70% off retail prices. It's open daily from 10am to 6pm (Sundays 12 to 5pm).

UPPER EAST SIDE—NYC's crop of quirky, uber-niche stores keeps on growing. Treat House, the Upper West Side bakery that sells fancy, cube-shaped versions of the Rice Krispie Treats you had when you were a kid, has just opened its second store at 1566 Second Avenue. Inside the new digs, you'll be able to design your very own (i.e. add delicious toppings) or, because this is 2015, create a treat emblazoned with a selfie.
