SOHO—This month marks the Birchbox store's first birthday, but we're the ones getting the presents. All day tomorrow at 433 West Broadway, brow specialists from Spruce and Bond are offering free eyebrow waxes and sculpting.
MANHATTAN—After ten days on an East coast boho road trip, Trêk-À-Porter is landing in New York City. The mobile pop-up shop conceptualized by CFDA designer Wenlan Chia is stopping first at the Hester Street Fair tomorrow from 11am to 6pm, and then heads to the Modabox storefront by South Street Seaport on Sunday. The 15 designers who were part of the mini-tour, will be on hand to sell their goods as they close out the tour.
MANHATTAN—Bring your favorite pooch to your local PetSmart (there's locations in Noho and East Harlem) for some doggie ice cream in honor of National Ice Cream Day. You can pick up some free samples for Fido tomorrow between 12pm and 4pm.
MANHATTAN—Both Joseph locations (76 Greene St and 1061 Madison Ave) are ridding themselves of spring/summer merchandise with a huge sale through the second week in August. And in Soho, in addition to their men's and women's collection, they're also including other brands in the sale that are only available in the store.
SOHO—Florentini + Baker's end-of-season sale is running for the next few weeks, with shoes from their spring/summer 2015 collection going for up to 70% off retail prices. Boots, sandals, oxfords, and sneakers (we like the metallic leather sneaks, in particular) will be included in the sale at 54 Mercer Street.
WILLIAMSBURG—Concrete + Water is hosting a trunk show for Quality People this Monday, complete with barbecue—yes, seriously. From 7pm to 10pm on July 20th, stop by the store at 485 Driggs Avenue for food from Schaller's Sausage Bar, drinks from Owney's New York City Rum, and music by DJ/rap artist Dash Speaks.
