FINANCIAL DISTRICT—Head to Retro Fitness at 1 Manhattan Plaza tomorrow morning to take advantage of their outdoor workout classes. You can take Zumba, Step, and Rezist (a combination strength/cardio class that involves dumbbells), taught by the gym's instructors, between 11am and 3pm. Anyone is welcome to participate, as long as they make a small donation—proceeds will go to the Department of Parks and Recreation to help send NYC kids to summer camps. Sign up here to grab a spot.
MIDTOWN—Get some summer beauty TLC at Barneys' Madison Avenue flagship tomorrow evening between 5pm and 8pm. Stop by for skin care consultations with Malin + Goetz, talk summer braids with a stylist from Valery Joseph, and get a mini mani from Jin Soon. You can also head upstairs to sample the new Sunset Menu at Genes Cafe, which includes seasonal cocktails.
MIDTOWN—Cashmere innovators Kit & Ace are popping up at the Bloomingdale's flagship this weekend. Between Friday and Sunday, find styles not available in the Nolita location, such as the Ashbury women's long-sleeved tee and the Huxley men's tee. The brand's machine washable cashmere technology makes for seriously soft pieces that are easy to maintain.
