Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We've known about it for months, but the Urban Outfitters on the Upper West Side finally has a closing date: June 20th, which means from now until then, there's an extra 50% off sale items.

Another reason besides sales we're not mourning the loss: In due time (i.e. before holiday season), the space will be home to NYC's first Bloomingdale's outlet. Similar to Saks Off Fifth and Nordstrom Rack, it'll take over three stories of Broadway and 72nd Street.
