WILLIAMSBURG—This weekend, Baggu will be hosting a pop-up for Otherwild, a trendy LA-based clothing and accessories collection inside their store. Tonight from 6pm to 9pm will be the opening reception, and the pop-up will be open this Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 7pm, where you'll find brands like Modern Woman and Gravel + Gold touting jewelry, decor, and vintage-inspired clothing.
GOWANUS—This Saturday at Sky Gallery (460 Union St), Nova perfumer and performance artist Mae Elvis will be opening their interactive art-slash-scent show, where they've curated a photo exhibit consisting of characters dreamed up while smelling different scents from Nova's custom blends. Viewers will be presented with a scented cloche while viewing each photo, so they can have the full experience of the show. The show opens tomorrow, June 27th and lasts through June 30th.
GOWANUS—After that, stick around Sky Gallery for a Maker's Market pop-up event this Sunday afternoon. Local artists, designers, and chefs will be setting up shop from noon to 5pm, selling one-of-a-kind pieces including locally made treats, hand crafted textiles, and pottery.
SOHO—This Saturday at the Woolrich store, there'll be a live window display designed by local artist Sophie Aschauer of Serpent Sea as part of Woolrich's "A Window into American Craft" series, which highlights local craftspeople. Serpent Sea is a brand of mats made from reclaimed sailing ropes, and crafted together using traditional sailing knots. You'll also score 30–40% off select outerwear from mens and women's spring and summer collection.
