A few hours into Mara Hoffman's bright and colorful sample sale, Racked reporter Elena Adams checked back in to see what the lunchtime crowds are like. Luckily, there isn't a line to get into the sale right now, and browsing the racks, even the most popular ones filled with dresses and bathing suits, isn't as harried as the picture below may convey, she insists.
However, you'll need to exercise some patience once you find what you're buying: The majority of shoppers there are now are just waiting to check out, and Adams estimates they could be in line for as many as 45 minutes. Let's pray that they don't have an air-conditioning malfunction in there.
