Sad news for leather-obsessed Lower East Siders: After more than five years, The Cast is closing up their Orchard Street shop. News was announced yesterday via a Facebook post by owners Chuck Guarino and Elisa Maldonado, who wrote, "Yes it's true. It's a fucking sad day. Manhattan real estate has sunk its fangs into yet another victim. We've lost our lease."
The silver lining, however, is that as of today, they'll be popping up inside The Great Frog across the street while they search for a new space. Plus, everything in the store and online is currently 50% off while they work on preparations for a spring 2016 collection.
