New York City's barre workouts are expanding like crazy—and now, they'll be joined by an uber-popular LA import. Pop Physique, a ballet-barre combination workout that aims to give participants a "new butt," will open up a New York studio (location TBD!) this summer.
Pop Physique was founded by a former professional ballet dancer and Pilates instructor, who combines the principles of dance to "create long, lean lines, and tight, compact muscles," according to their site. Their branding reads like the fitness version of American Apparel: Made in LA! Super sexy billboards! There's even cheeky tanks available on their e-commerce site that say things like "Barre Whore" and "Barre Game On Fleek."
We'll keep you posted on the location and opening date, but in the meantime, read up on the studio's signature one-hour workout.
