We come bearing good news from the land of bookstores: Printed Matter, which specializes in "artist's books," that is, books created by artists and independent publishers, will double its size when it moves five blocks from its Chelsea home, DNAinfo reports.
The new, two-story space at 231 11th Avenue, slated to open in September, will include enough room for events, exhibitions, and book displays. "There's constantly the sound of falling books as people jostle them," executive director Max Schumann told the publication.
