It's only been two months since the last Patrik Ervell sample sale, but this time around it's a warehouse sale—which means lower prices and loads of old stock, with a few runway pieces and one-off samples sprinkled throughout. We stopped by the friends and family preview last night and were pleased to see so many seasonally appropriate options for men. Sorry ladies, there is no womenswear at this sale. With deep discounts (up to 90% off retail) everything is between $35 and $250.
This was the most organized Patrik Ervell sample sale to date, with pieces organized by size and category. Keep in mind that some styles run small, so be sure to try on your size and one size larger. This time around, staffers made a small changing room in the back, making it easier to try on pants and shorts. The hangers are color-coded, indicating the prices which match up with the charts on the wall.
The most popular items at the preview last night were men's shorts for just $75 and short-sleeve shirts for $50. Another hot commodity was the selvedge denim for $125 (a first for the sale). We don't expect the jeans to last through the weekend, so get there when the sale opens at 11am today for the best selection.
Other warm weather deals: lightweight linen blazers that look like chambray for $150, with shorts to match for $75. Streamlined nylon rain jackets are $200 and utilitarian denim jackets are $150.
If you're still looking to pad your winter wardrobe, there are plenty of options. Alpaca and cotton jacquard sweaters are priced at $100, with chunky cardigans going for $125. Boiled wool blazers are $150, while pea coats are $200. Everything at the sale is under $250, including all outerwear, which is between $200 and $250.
Other deals include $50 Doc Martens from the brand's runway shows, available in sizes 9 through 11. Bags and baseball caps are $60, while knit caps are just $35. Both Patrik Ervell's signature pocket tees with welt collars and printed tees are $50. Long sleeve button-down shirts are priced between $50 and $150, with the majority of styles going for $75 to $90. We spotted white seersucker styles, heavy chambray, and collarless light pink poplin options that all felt fresh to wear now. There is limited overstock, but don't be afraid to ask the helpful staff for other sizes.
The Patrik Ervell sample sale runs though Sunday, and is open 11am—6pm daily. See below for more details.
