Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Your options for where to get a good haircut just increased by one. Crain's New Yorkk reports that Fox and Jane is opening a salon at 288 Atlantic Avenue—a weird intersection where Boerum Hill, Downtown Brooklyn, and Cobble Hill collide. It's their second Brooklyn salon and fifth overall in the city (Manhattan locations include the Lower East Side, the East Village, and the Upper West Side).
There's no word on an opening date for this location just yet, but it's already got a bunch of potential fashionable clients within walking distance, including Barneys, Steven Alan, Mavi Jeans, Twisted Lily, Gant Rugger, and Joy Gryson.
