Update: As of Monday morning, men and womens' denim jeans are now $64 - $80, colored and twill denims are now $40. Original discounts are reflected below.
Weekend shoppers, rejoice! Adriano Goldschmied’s sale at Clothingline has loads of jeans—with plenty of sizes and style to choose from—plus tops and shorts to boot. We took a look at the stock this morning (what’s available is already out, so no re-stocking) and found some great buys. Here’s what you need to know:
When you walk into Clothingline, most of the women’s denim is piled on tables in the center, starting with size 24 up to size 30, with sizes 32 through 34 on a rack to the right. All regular jeans are $79 (that’s blue, white, gray or black denim), and aged varieties (with a 49 on the button) are $99. Colored and waxed denims, as well as twill pants and chinos, are on the racks around the perimeter, and most of these styles are $49 (excluding anything white, black, or gray—these are $79).
There are a good number of sizes in every style and color, although shoppers who wear a 26 or 28 have the most to choose from. Legging jeans, skinnies, and boot cut styles dominate the racks. Some of the best deals we saw: a pair of tuxedo skinny jeans for $99 (were $235), metallic silver jeans for $49 (were $235), and gray zip pocket leggings for $79 (were $245).
Women’s tops and tees ($19), as well as shorts ($49 down from $148) are on racks in the back of the sale. We also saw a purple linen dress for $49 (was $165) and a gray women's sweater causally marked down to $29 (originally $398).
The men’s section has fewer denim options than the women’s, but there's still a similar spread of sizes and styles. Chinos and colored jeans (both $49) are in boxes on table, while regular denim ($79-$99) hangs on the racks. Men’s tees and shirts are all $29 (reduced from $118), as are all sweaters and hoodies.
If you know your size, get here stat. The gates have opened and the perfect summer jeans won’t be there for long.
