It looks like more bad news for Reed Krakoff. Last month, the former Coach designer announced that his eponymous label would be suspending operations while the company shifted to the "accessible luxury market" and would close the Madison Avenue store with a huge sale that included new merchandise. At the time, it was reported that the Greene Street store that had only opened in January would remain in business, as would the Woodbury Common outlet. But now, it appears the Krakoff brand is changing its tune.
A longtime Racked tipster visited the Woodbury Common outlet this weekend to find that this branch is indeed closing—with everything 85% off right now, to boot—and a store employee said that the Soho store would shut down as well. Neither a timeline for these closures nor a Soho sale were mentioned, but we've reached out to the brand for more information and will update when we hear back.
In the meantime, head up to Central Valley if you have the chance: One Twitter user scored this $1,100 leather satchel for just $172.
