Women run the world—Beyoncé said it, so it must be true. And through the end of May, they're running the latest concept at Story, too. The ever-changing Chelsea shop re-opened its doors yesterday to throw the spotlight on women-owned businesses with "Her Story," featuring items both created and favored by an exhaustive list of powerful ladies.

That includes Serena Williams's and Iris Apfel's latest products from HSN; Sara Blakely's Spanx; Olivia Wilde's favorite bangle from Maiyet; Malia Mills bikinis; the Birchbox founders's best beauty bets for men and women; Martha Stewart's American-made favorites like Brooklyn Slate Co.; lady-led magazines like Katie Grand's Love and Kerry Diamond's Cherry Bombe; books written by Nasty Gal's Sophia Amoruso (plus her favorite pieces from the e-commerce site), Stacy London, Fern Mallis; and plenty more.

Story owner Rachel Shechtman even included her mother's sweets company, Herbert's Candies—how's that for some Mother's Day love? The store is also filled with placards that contain fun facts and inspirational quotes from the designers and curators.

The entire concept is sponsored in part by Dressbar—that's the Dressbarn's concept shop—and thus the store features 14 of Shechtman's favorite designs from the likes of Luxe by Carmen Marc Valvo, Mixt by Heidi Weisel, Lovely by Adrianna Papell, Dressbar's exclusive Tuleste jewelry line, True.

And as usual, Story has packed its calendar with events related to its latest theme. Head here to find out when you can chat with Fern Mallis, dance like Beyoncé, brunch with Dressbar, and even pitch your own product to land at a future Story. "Her Story" is running in Chelsea through May 31st.
