The Rebecca Minkoff sample sale is in its third day, and the tables of bags are as full as they were when we stopped by on Monday—the only difference is the number of small accessories available. Today's lunchtime visit had peak crowds, so go at an off-hour time for fewer crowds and a shorter line.
Bags are on the center tables and are being restocked as the day goes on. They are still in order by size and color, with mini bags and clutches toward the entrance and bigger shoulder bags at the back. Prices remain the same as opening day. Some favorites we noted: the Mini M.A.B. backpack for $135 (was $250), an Affair fanny bag (yes, that’s a thing) for $125, a cobalt Waverly crossbody for $185 (originally $345), and a M.A.B. tote mini in black cherry for $125 (was $195).
Clothes have also been restocked,—the black leather moto dress and blush color perforated leather jacket ($200) are still available, along with plenty of tops ($75), pants ($125), and dresses ($150) in sizes 0-12. Shoes have been slightly picked over, but we still spotted sizes 5.5 up to a 10 out today. Sandals, sneakers, and flats are still $50, and heels and boots are $100.
Most of the good true samples are long gone, and we didn’t spot any more small wallets in the bins available for women (still plenty of wallets in the men’s section, though). Some of the zip wallets left in the bins ($55—$75) were a little scuffed. It's likely that staff will restock restock similar styles for everything that's left overnight, and we'd recommend getting in before the weekend for the best bag styles.
