Thought today was just going to be a regular Tuesday with regular sample sales and regular door policies? Wrong. Mizhattan reports that Lanvin's private sale just started at Alber Elbaz-helmed brand's Midtown offices, but the word "private" kind of has a loose definition. Last time around, mere mortals who weren't on the list were able to shuffle past the door in the early part of the sale, but as word got out and crowds formed, that list became the gate to an impenetrable French luxury fortress.
