Disappointed that you slept through the Lilly Pulitzer for Target launch on Sunday morning, only to find that both stores and the website were wiped out within minutes? You could head to eBay to find more than 32,000 items marked up well beyond the collaboration's affordable price point...or, as Madison Avenue Spy reminds us, you could spend that money on real Lilly Pulitzer pieces.
The local shopping site reports that maxi dresses on Pulitzer's site hover around the $200 mark, while this $34 Target version is going as high as $400 right now (you could also bid on this one for much less). Plenty of the designer's items from Saks Fifth Avenue are 30% off retail prices during the department store's friend's and family sale, using the code FRNFAM at checkout. And don't forget to hunt Amazon for a selection of competitively-priced print dresses.
You could also hold out the hope that merchandise will return to Target shelves, both IRL and online, for indecisive customers taking advantage of that 14-day return policy. Or you could hope for Ryan Gosling to appear at your doorstep—the odds are pretty much the same.
