Exciting news for book lovers everywhere: The Rizzoli comeback is imminent. The iconic bookstore, which was forced out of its 57th Street home a year ago, will likely open at its new location at 1133 Broadway in
May June, Experience Nomad reports. This will be the third home for the the publisher of books on art, fashion, and architecture, which originally opened on Fifth Avenue in 1964.
The neighborhood site writes that a green construction facade has just been erected around the address that'll hold Rizzoli and two restaurants so that work on the exterior New Yorkers can expect new ground floors, glass windows, and transoms to reflect the building's original 1896 design.
Update: Shortly after this article was published, Experience Nomad updated its original post to reflect that Rizzoli is now looking at a June opening.
