For the latest event to mark its tenth anniversary, Catbird is taking its name quite literally. The local jewelry favorite that's known for all thing rings, from stacking to engaging, has invited the ASPCA's mobile unit to park outside of its 219 Bedford Avenue storefront tomorrow from 1pm to 5pm for a kitten and cat adoption session (sorry, no birds available).
Every cat available has been spayed/neutered and microchipped and is up-to-date with its vaccines; plus, adoption fees are waived if you take home a cat that's more than three years old. Inside the store, Catbird will have cake from Ovenly and gift bags, and 10% of all sales during that time will benefit the ASPCA. Furry friends and gorgeous jewels? Sounds like a pretty perfect Saturday to us.
