We really had no choice but to host a Racked Fit Club at Throwback Fitness on a Thursday—the #tbt hashtag opportunities were just too good to pass up. So join us this Thursday, March 12th, at 5:30pm for a workout with co-founders Brian Gallagher and Ryan Wilke that combines rowing and old-school, tried-and-true fitness moves into seriously fun, interactive games.
The first half of the class might have you and a partner racing against the clock to log the most meters on a rower, while the second half—"recess"—will involve the likes of squats, sit-ups, and burpees in games like dodgeball or flip cup. Also involved: great team names.
The class takes place on the second floor of 303 Fifth Avenue, and the floor has a shared bathroom for changing in case you arrive in your office clothes (sorry, no showers) and cubbies that you'll always have an eye on for storing your stuff. Participants should plan on showing up 10 minutes early in comfy workout gear and a solid pair of sneakers with a water bottle in tow—we promise you'll need it.
Want in on the action? We've got 12 spots to fill. Send an email here with the subject line "Racked Fit Club" and your name in the body of the email. We're accepting participants on a first-come, first-serve basis-and sorry, we can't accept reservations for friends; each person who wants to attend must send a separate email. Anyone who sends an email after the class is filled will be put on the wait list, and we'll notify you if space frees up.
