WILLIAMSBURG—This week's news item about the thief who stole 400 bottles of nail polish from a Williamsburg salon may have been rife with joke material, but for Nails and Spa 4U's owners, it was a serious dent—$1,300 in total—to their business. But! The Q-Tip brand has come to the rescue, donating the full amount stolen to the salon (plus, tons of Q-tips), as well as a free manicure for 25 lucky patrons of Nail Spa 4U this Saturday.
MIDTOWN—Relive the best/worst/most whatever night of high school at Lord & Taylor's themed fashion show to kick off prom season. Models Sailor Brinkley Cook and Malik Lindo will walk in the event, which will take over the entire third floor tomorrow from 2pm to 4pm and feature local high school students debuting this year's best prom looks on the runway.
NOLITA—Celebrate the opening of the city's fist permanent BucketFeet shoe store (266 Elizabeth Street) with an afternoon-long party tomorrow from 11am to 7pm. Expect snacks, beer, and the brand's co-founder, who'll chat about the artist-designed shoe prints.
WILLIAMSBURG—In honor of its first birthday, the Feltraiger store in Brooklyn will spend each day of the weekend with a different celebratory activity: Tonight at Rocka Rolla, score drink specials between 10pm and 12pm, while tomorrow will see the release of the brand's "Summer of '69" collection, followed by an after-party at Lucky Dog starting at 11pm. And on Sunday, the first 25 customers will receive a free gift.
