Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

In the vein of Nordstrom Rack and Saks Off Fifth, Bloomingdale's own lower-priced store is coming to Manhattan. Specifically, it'll replace the current Urban Outfitters at Broadway and 72nd Street when its lease expires this summer.

Word of Urban Outfitters' imminent closure came earlier in February, and the fact that the address is being marketed as "the best retail corner on Manhattan's Upper West Side" makes it unsurprising that a brand like Bloomie's would be quick to grab it up.

The three-story, 24,985-square-foot store is expected to open before the holiday season arrives, Commercial Observer reports, though there's no word on what kind of prices we can expect (nor what its new name will be!), but we'll keep you posted.
