For a fitness studio, nothing quite says "You've made it!" like opening a new location in Flatiron, the center of all that is fit in New York City (the neighborhood's business improvement district should really be giving out plaques for this by now). The latest place to be bestowed this honor? Y7 Studio, the home of yoga classes whose playlists are heavy on Drake and light on ocean sounds—according to Well + Good, they're opening on West 23rd Street this Friday, April 3rd.
"The main thing about the Flatiron location is that it's the first one where the whole floor is finally ours," co-owner Sarah Larson told the site. Y7's original studio is in a Williamsburg office suite, and they opened within Soho's Monster Cycle earlier this year. "We're not at the mercy of our neighbors."
That means there's room for 30 students to flow in a heated candlelit room, plus the "I Woke Up Like This Bar" to refresh after class with blow dryers and dry shampoo (in lieu of showers), plus a lounge area next to check-in. Interested in trying them out? Take advantage of their great intro deal: Two weeks of unlimited classes for only $45.
