Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
NYC-based e-commerce site Of A Kind has been introducing us to under-the-radar indie designers for years, but now their cute, often locally made products will be available IRL. The site has teamed up with Target to bring a collection of wall art, bookends, pillows, and other home decor to 350 Target stores nationwide, including the East Harlem and Atlantic Terminal outposts.
As of this week, expect to find wall art by Brooklyn artist Dealtry, animal-shaped bookends and wall hooks by L.A. designer Wolfum, and coasters, soap dishes, flasks, toothbrushes, and balsam pillows by NYC-based Izola at your local Target (in-store only—the products won't be available on Target's site). Scroll through the gallery to see the entire collection.
