It's hard to imagine anything standing in the way of a pairing that makes as much sense as Zac Posen and Charles James—but Page Six reports that Posen and Harvey Weinstein, who purchased the iconic brand from James's children, are "far apart on money."

Earlier this month, it was reported that Posen had been tapped as a creative consultant for the resurrected brand, alongside Weinstein's wife, Marchesa co-creative director Georgina Chapman, her partner Keren Craig, and her brother, Marchesa CEO Edward Chapman.

A spokesman told the paper, "Reports that Zac Posen has been chosen to join the creative team in relaunching the Charles James fashion brand are not confirmed."
