After a setting up a summer pop-up shop on the Bowery last year, Tokyobike took a brief hiatus from New York City. But as of today, the Japanese bike manufacturer is back in its original 1 Prince Street space—only this time, it's there for good.
The store, which used to house Freitag, is all white walls and blond wood, with lacquered helmets, leather bike bags, and locks stacked neatly on shelves. As for the bikes themselves, they're super light and, according to the website, emphasize comfort, not speed.
