Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Less than a year after opening in Chelsea, BFX Studio is ready to tackle another part of Manhattan. The boutique fitness gym is gearing up to open next week in the Financial District—a neighborhood that, aside from small studios like Flow Cycle and chains like Crunch and the new Equinox at Brookfield Place, hasn't seen much of a workout boom (yet). And for their first week of business, you can take classes for free!
The new location at 30 Broad Street will offer their entire roster of classes, including Spinning (dubbed Ride) in a stadium-style studio, group classes like Box and Bell (a combination of kickboxing and kettlebell), and personal training that incorporates technology like the Fit3D.
Head here to sign up for classes for the week of March 23rd before they're all filled up.
