Solange-Approved Line William Okpo Drops Anchor in South Street Seaport

Bed-Stuy-based sisters Lizzy and Darlene Okpo—the duo behind buzzy label William Okpo—are opening up their first-ever store this spring. Slated to take over 4 Fulton Street sometime during the first week of April, the shop will join South Street Seaport newcomers like Brother Vellies, Whisper Editions, and Modabox.

If William Okpo's spring 2015 collection is any indication, expect to find sweet collared shifts with unexpected details like sheer net overlay, chambray suiting, and modern takes on the wrap dress. Of course, where there's William Okpo there's Solange, and where there's Solange (sometimes) there's Beyonce. So, your chances of spotting a Knowles sister downtown are about to go way up.
