When one semi-dubious dessert day ends, another is just on the horizon: This Friday, Macaron Day is making its glorious 2015 return, showering the city with free, adorable French pastries. But alongside the multitude of bakeries offering free macarons in honor of the holiday, one will be pulling an all-nighter and debut a new flavor every hour, for a full 24 hours.
From 8am on Friday to 8am on Saturday, Macaron Parlour's East Village shop (sadly not the outpost that's adjacent to Meow Parlour, NYC's one and only cat café) will be churning out a new flavor of macaron every 60 minutes. They've teamed up with other local sweets purveyors, Davey's Ice Cream, Liddabit Sweets, La New Yorkina, and PDT for the flavor collabs, some of which involve fun shapes (like the kitten ones pictured above)! We'll see you there—at 4:15am after the bars close and we're in dire need of a snack, most likely.
