Spruce & Bond is continuing its forward momentum following December's rebranding news. Back when the former Completely Bare announced its name change—contributing to commentary on the death of the Brazilian wax—the salon promised several new locations, and immediately delivered with the announcement of an Amsterdam Avenue address.

Now, an opening month has been set for that Upper West Side spot (May), and a new salon at 1441 Second Avenue, near 75th Street, will open in early summer. Both salons will offer their full slate of services—waxing, laser hair removal, and brow shaping and tinting—in four treatment rooms and two Browlab stations.

And while the New York-based salon plans to roll out locations outside of the city in the future, they aren't forgetting their roots. They've teamed up with the Brooklyn-based Apotheke to create a hand soap, lotion, and soy candle that'll be exclusive to the salon when it becomes available both online and in salons next month.
