The Kooples—the pricey disco-prep French label known for featuring IRL couples in its ads—debuted its first brick-and-mortar presence in New York last August, and it's already opening store number two. Following the Meatpacking District location inside Moschino's old haunt, The Kooples' second outpost will take over 115 Mercer Street on March 22nd.
The Kooples Soho will join Rag & Bone, A.P.C., Journelle, and Agent Provocateur on the stretch between Prince and Spring Streets. It's all part of a massive North American expansion plan, WWD reports, that appears to be paying off: "Meatpacking, in the first half," CEO Nicholas Dreyfus told the paper, "was in our top-three stores worldwide."
