One little letter can make a big difference. Case in point: Dressbarn's pop-up shop, The Dressbar, that's now open at 102 Fifth Avenue. The bi-level space that neighbors lingerie shop Intimacy exclusively houses the brand's designer collaborations (Carmen Marc Valvo, Adrianna Papell, and Heidi Weisel among them) that top out at $70 in sizes 2 through 24, along with a selection of Tuleste jewelry to complete the outfit.
Decked out with flowering trees, a Phhhoto GIF booth, and a wall of mannequin heads displaying the jewelry, Dressbar certainly looks and feels like a fashionable step up from the brand's typical brick-and-mortar locations. Expect to find tons of fit-and-flare styles with high or scooped necklines in bright spring colors and fits that carry over from the office to happy hour (but wouldn't necessarily work for a night out in the Meatpacking District).
Be on the lookout for after-work events in the store with partners like DreamDry and more. Dressbar is open through early June.
